Each summer, the University of Kentucky College of Medicine hosts an intensive, graduate-level research program that sets undergraduates aspiring to become health care providers and scientists on a path to success. 

5 Lewis Honors Students Receive Top Honors Undergraduate Researchers in the News

Earlier this month, the University of Kentucky Lewis Honors College held its Spring 2021 Medal Ceremony in two physically distant ceremonies in the Gatton Student Center. As is tradition, all of the Lewis Honors College graduation awards were announced at the ceremony.

DEADLINE: Sustainability Summer Research Fellowship Application

Is your research focused on sustainability? If so, you could get paid to do sustainability-focused research this summer! Sustainability research at the University of Kentucky addresses the integration of cultural, economic, environmental, and energy components and supports projects and perspectives that have positive impacts on future resources, ecosystem health, and human wellbeing.  $3,000 stipend Application Deadline: March 1, 2021

UK Students, Faculty Approach Summer Research Fellowships in Creative Ways to Continue Studies

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 24, 2020) — This year, 28 Summer Research Fellowships were awarded to undergraduate students by the University of Kentucky Office of Undergraduate Research. Excited to put their skills to the test in labs, fields, art studios and on stage, neither students nor faculty could have predicted the looming impacts of the novel coronavirus, introducing significant changes to nearly all facets of our daily lives.
