“This fellowship will allow me to continue my current research project which I have been working on for the past year. I’m excited to see all the new results and what I will accomplish!" 

Why is research important?

“Research is important to me because it allows me to explore new areas of science and also prove that I can use everything I have learned in my college career so far."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

“Do it! You will learn so much from this experience and if it’s for you, you’ll love it! Research is like having a baby that you get to see grow up and everything you do will be worth it."
