How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"I first became interested in undergraduate research at UK because I wanted to take what I was learning in my classes to the next level and explore careers in science fields."

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"1.5 years"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"The most exciting aspect of my research so far has been seeing the project progress and seeing our idea come to life."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Research is a great way to get involved on campus with faculty and other driven students. Undergraduate research has given me some many awesome opportunities like mentorship, a summer research fellowship, and presenting at a national conference. For other students considering doing research, I would definitely recommend giving it a try."
