REGISTER: Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars

This year’s 20th annual Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars is on Wednesday, April 29, from 1 to 5:30 p.m. at the Historic Memorial Coliseum. The Showcase is an opportunity for undergraduates to present their work through oral sessions, posters, artistic exhibits or performances. The event gives students from all disciplines a chance to engage in public outreach and polish their presentation skills. Peers, faculty and the local community are invited to come learn about the wide range of undergraduate research conducted at UK.

Research + Creative Experience Expo

The Undergraduate Research + Creative Experience Expo will introduce undergraduate scholars to the diversity of research conducted at UK, allow students to network with research faculty and staff, and learn about mentored research opportunities. 2025 Oswald Research and Creativity Competition winners announced

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 19, 2025) — The University of Kentucky Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) recently announced the 21 undergraduate winners of the 61st annual Oswald Research and Creativity Awards. Chad Risko, Ph.D., faculty director of the Office of Undergraduate Research, and Research Ambassadors, presented the awards.

Sustainability Summer Research Fellowship

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2026 Sustainability Summer Research Fellowships ($5,000 stipend) are funded by the Environmental Stewardship Fee and seek to promote projects that will make a significant contribution to the student’s academic growth, while concomitantly contributing to sustainability-related research initiatives at the University of Kentucky and within the community at large.   Discover how your mentor's research is SUSTAINABILITY-RELATED:
