OUR, UK Sustainability announce winners of research poster competition

The University of Kentucky Office of Undergraduate Research and UK Sustainability are honored to announce the six winners of the fifth annual sustainability research poster competition. The competition was held in conjunction with the annual UK Sustainability Showcase in the atrium of the Healthy Kentucky Research Building on Oct. 15.

Ten students selected as 5-Minute Fast Track finalists

The UK Office of Undergraduate Research announces the 8th annual 5-Minute Fast Track student research competition finalists. These undergraduates will present their research during the final round on Oct. 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in 150 Healthy Kentucky Research Building.

NCUR: National Conference on Undergraduate Research

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is an annual student conference dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study. Registration now open for OUR Summer Research Symposium

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 28, 2025) — Registration is now open for the University of Kentucky Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) seventh annual Summer Research Symposium. This year’s symposium will be 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in the Gatton Student Center Ballrooms B and C.

Sustainability Showcase + Poster Competition

The UK Sustainability Showcase will be held on October 15, 2025 at 5:30 pm in UK's Healthy Kentucky Research Building (HKRB) Atrium. The People's Choice Awards will be voted on during the Showcase event and announced at the awards ceremony, as well. Students will have the opportunity to present their posters during the UK Sustainability Showcase. This event is open to the public.
