How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"Dr. Markutsya offered me the position working with him during my faculty mentoring program with him my sophomore year."

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"I have been engaged in undergraduate research ever since my sophomore year as an undergraduate student."

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"The most exciting aspect of my research was participating in the visiting faculty program with AMES national laboratory in the Summer of 2020."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Be communicative with your professors and faculty advisors. They are always looking to disciple new students."
