I enjoy research because.... "I am constantly learning new information, not only about how to navigate research, but also information regarding my field of study, which I can use in my future education career."

How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"My advisor sent me an email with the information and said they thought that I would be a good fit! I hadn't done any similar programs before, but it sounded like such a great experience to have and I'm so glad I applied!"

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"Just since the start of this school year."

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"The way that my team's knowledge and expertise on our subject matter has improved since the beginning of our research has been amazing to watch!"

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"If you think you might be interested but are hesitant for whatever reason, just go for it! Add depth to your resume and to your college career! It's been such a great experience and I've personally benefitted from the project so much already."
