How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"I was first interested in undergraduate research at UK when I was applying as a high schooler. I knew that the university offered great opportunities in research and I was excited to be a part of it."

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"6 semesters (including this one!)"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"The most exciting aspect of my research so far has been how every answer we receive leads to more questions that demand creative solutions and approaches."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Immerse yourself in the research and the university's culture...show your passion and don't be afraid to ask questions!"
