How will this summer research fellowship support your research efforts?

“The CURE fellowship will assist me in continuing to delve into my research back from Brazil during the summer. Besides, it will provide mentorship for me to explore my intellectual curiosities, and interests while I impact my community.”

Why is research important?

“Research is a mechanism to impact communities by recognizing and addressing social challenges with an innovative and creative eye for solutions.”

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

“Express interest to your professors! If your professor is not doing research at the moment, they definitely know someone who is (that was what happened to me!)”
