How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"After taking BIO198 and BIO199 my freshman year I looked for a more permanent position and was able to get started in my current lab by the beginning of my sophomore year. "

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"1.5 years"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"Being able to see the progression of different projects since I've started."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Find a lab you're interested in and do it!"
