The Office of Undergraduate Research is hosting a Midsummer Research Social for all summer research fellows and mentors on Wednesday, July 9, from 11:30 am – 1 pm outside of Jacobs Science Building. We will serve free Kona Ice and good times for a fun summer social opportunity!

Create effective and engaging research posters! We will walk attendees through the poster-making process, emphasizing poster design principles, layouts/ formats, understanding your audience, and evaluating a poster. Interactive workshop for all! Attendees will critique sample posters by applying the design principles discussed. Poster design worksheet and handout included.

This workshop will teach you the basics of writing a successful proposal. Start early so that you have time to incorporate faculty feedback.
