Aperture is an open-access, interdisciplinary, peer- and expert-reviewed student journal at the University of Kentucky. Aperture is edited and produced by an undergraduate student editorial board of peer editors.  AJUR accepts submissions from all disciplines of academic study. We encourage UK undergraduate students who have completed research or are currently engaged in research with a faculty mentor to submit their work. 

The Journal publishes original work only, including data-based research, scholarly research, and fine and performing arts projects with critical commentary, including consideration of stylistic issues, influences, process, methodology, technique, and impact.
