How will this summer research fellowship support your research efforts?

“This fellowship will give me the chance to work on something I feel incredibly passionate about.  I will also have the chance to present my research and connect with people who have an interest in sustainability and environmental communication.”

Why is sustainability research important?

“The focus of my research is environmental communication.  The environmental issues we face are alarming.  With the politicization of environmental issues, it is crucial to connect with people on environmental concerns without shutting people down or pushing them away from a solution."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

“You should absolutely do it!  Research gives you the chance to pursue something you are passionate about and provides experience if you choose to pursue work in the field.”
