What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far? "Learning different ways to approach problems to solve and doing repetitive tasks to get what I want, and never giving up!"

How has undergraduate research impacted your college experience at the University of Kentucky? “I discovered my true passion and language through research.”

Has research changed your career or educational goals? Please explain. “Yes, I always wanted to go straight into industry, but now, I want to learn more and do research, so I’m planning on pursuing the PhD program!”

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research? “You never know if you are going to love things or what your true research interest is! It will help tremendously to define your skills, interests, and knowledge.”
