The 5-Minute Fast Track is an academic research competition that cultivates students’ presentation and research communication skills and challenges them to describe their research within five minutes. Exciting oral research competition that represents the diversity of scholarly work at UK and awards cash prizes.

• Registration Opens: September 5, 2021 @ 12:01am

  • IMPORTANT: There are only 40 student registrations available. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• Registration Deadline: October 5, 2021

• Student Presentation Workshop: October 11, 2021 @ 6pm; Funkhouser Rm 313

• Competition Slide Deadline: October 15, 2021 by 11:55pm EDT

• Preliminary Rounds: Tuesday, October 19 & Wednesday, October 20, 2021 @ 5pm

• Final Round: Thursday, October 28, 2021 @ 5pm
