How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"The STEMCats program introduced me to research early. In just my first year, I got to work on a research project and prepare a presentation under my current faculty mentor."

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"4 years"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"I have really enjoyed learning how to use new computational tools and different quantitative machines that I never even knew existed before joining the lab."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Don't be afraid to ask questions!"
