How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"I started doing research through BIO 199 and I realized this was something I wanted to absolutely continue doing."

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"3.5 years"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

Being able to see my results contribute to the lab in a meaningful way."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Do it!! Start by sending out emails, even if it is a project that sounds too difficult, there will always be someone to help."
