How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"I read an economics research paper on female employment that intersected religion, politics, and labor outcomes all in one. I wanted to continue tapping into the curiosity that paper sparked.

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"Since my sophomore year!"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"Being proven wrong time and time again."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Take the risk and see if it's for you. Students discount research too quickly. It is worth giving a chance!"
