How will this summer research fellowship support your research efforts?
“The CURE fellowship is helping support my summer research by providing funding for specific materials and housing, as well as introducing me to fellow undergraduates participating in summer research.”
Why is research important?
“Research allows us to improve as a society. Research leads to innovations, treatments, techniques, and growth, along with many other tools. We can use research to advance our knowledge on a variety of topics and use that knowledge to better our society.”
What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?
“If you are interested in research, reach out to someone: professor, fellow student, or the office of undergraduate research. There is such a variety of research here at UK, so find something that you are passionate about and strive to succeed!”
