I enjoy research because.... "It gives me the chance to learn new things and work with all kinds of different people from professors to graduate students and undergraduate students."

How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"I was introduced to undergraduate research in ABT101 during my first semester at UK."

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"2 and a half years"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"Is seeing how everything fits together. The idea that the new results will leads to more ideas and endless possibilities."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Once you find an area of research that you’re interested in and start reaching out to professors or mentors!"
