How will this summer research fellowship support your research efforts?

“This summer research fellowship will allow me to gain more experience not only in performing research in a lab, but also in presenting and understanding the results that come from this research.”

Why is research important?

“Research is important to help us understand and explain what we do not know and how or why it occurs. It helps us explore possible explanations and solutions to problems or questions that are still unexplained.”

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

“My advice would be to give research a try and look for research that interests you. If you are not sure about whether it is right for you or not, take some research courses and experience how it would feel to be doing research.”
