“It allows me to continue my semester research and prepare for my path to a PhD.”

Why is research important?

“It's important to explore our intellectual curiosities as well as our interests. In addition, research is largely used for scientific development in our community that betters the lives and well being of others.”

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

“Give it a first, second, and third try. Every lab and mentor is different and it's important to find the ones that you work the best with before writing off research.”
