How will this summer research fellowship support your research efforts?
“The goal of my research efforts are to serve others, and through this summer research fellowship, I am able to help some of the most needy people in the world. My project’s focus on international medical brigades serves patients by developing a product that helps them receive better medical attention. Doctors are the real heroes of medical brigades, and I am thankful that I can use my talents in product development to join the work of serving patients.”
What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?
“To anyone that is considering applying for an opportunity to do research, I encourage you to try. Write your proposal, and send in your application. Remember, it is ok to ask for help. Talk to a professor or seek out someone’s office. The experience of conducting research will enrich your education, grow you professionally, and connect you with other pathfinders.”
