How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"Dr. Vaillancourt wanted to do some science fair projects with some young people and I just so happened to be there. "

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"2 years"

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"Something as innocuous as moldy apple powder is capable of actually neutralizing bacterial colonies."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Don’t give up, read lots of literature relevant to your field."
