How did you first get interested in undergraduate research at UK?

"I knew that I wanted to pursue research my senior year of high school and as soon as I got on campus I made it a priority to get involved in a lab."

How long have you been engaged in undergraduate research?

"Almost 2 years."

What has been the most exciting aspect of your research so far?

"I really love exploring concepts that have yet to be studied and it is exciting to think about discovering new information that has potential to make a difference in the world."

What advice would you give to other UK students thinking about doing research?

"Don’t be afraid to reach out to research mentors!"
