A. "Research has given me a lot and it feels good to be recognized for my work to give back to it."

Q. How has your experience as a Research Ambassador impacted you?

A. "Being an ambassador pushed me out of my in a positive way. I was able to grow as an individual and was able to help others find a way to grow through research as well."

Q. What was the most significant or memorable moment you experienced as a Research Ambassador?

A. "Preparing for and being at the research showcase was my most memorable experience. I was able to see the amount of work the people at the University of Kentucky, like Jesi Bowman, put into making the most out of every student's time here."

Q. Name the top two or three lessons you learned from your experience. 

A. "A lesson I learned is getting out of your comfort zone is the path to growth. I also learned to value the work everyone around me puts in."

Q. Why is undergraduate research important to the University of Kentucky?

A. "Research is important here because it is a way to make a positive impact on our world and the people that are involved in conducting it."

Q. What advice would you give to future Research Ambassadors? 

A. "Take every opportunity expand yourself because you will likely benefit others in the process."
