5-Minute Fast Track Research Competition - Final Round

1 Slide. 5 Minutes. Outstanding research! Cheer on UK undergraduate research students as they share their trailblazing research and compete for cash prizes in the 5-Minute Fast Track Competition. Who will advance to the finals? The Office of Undergraduate Research will host its 5th annual 5-Minute Fast Track Research Presentation Competition this fall. The 5-Minute Fast Track is an academic competition that cultivates students’ presentation and research communication skills, and challenges them to describe their research within five minutes.

Funding Fridays

The Office of Undergraduate Research's Funding Fridays are a monthly workshop for undergraduate researchers applying for OUR funding (fellowships, grants, etc).  This is a drop-in and work session space for students to get information about applying for opportunities.   The first Friday of each month from 12:00-1:00 pm via Zoom. September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5.

Oswald Design + Fine Arts Display

Stop by the Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library anytime from November 10 - 13, 2025, and enjoy UK undergraduate students' Oswald Research + Creativity Competition Design and Fine Arts projects! The awards ceremony will be held in the Niles Gallery of the Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 4:30 - 6 PM.
